What is the test format?

There are two modules to choose from: Academic and General Training.

The Academic module is for candidates planning to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies or seeking professional registration.

The General Training module is intended for individuals aiming to migrate to English-speaking countries (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the UK) or pursue studies or training below degree level.

What is the difference between Academic Module and General Training module?

Both modules assess all four language skills:listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The Listening and Speaking tests are the same for both modules, while the Reading and Writing tests differ.

The Listening, Reading, and Writing tests are completed on the same day, with no breaks between the written components. The Speaking test can be taken up to seven days before or after the other three tests.
